A little inspiration

I have needed a little pick me up from the past two weeks. So..... I did a little make over to my mantel and here it is a can of spray paint, ribbon, and a few quick hand made flowers and an hour later.....

Monster of a year...

We have only three days left of the 1st grade so, as my little mans gift for his outstanding year, I dedicated this Monster shirt to him. 

Way to go Little Man!!! This was a MONSTER of a year in a combo class and you made it through with perfect attendance and citizenship for the entire year.

Stamped Treasures

Today was a special day. My sisters birthday. I celebrated with her and her lovely three boys. Her gift this year was meant to be a treasure and that I do dope it was. I saw a great diy on stamped metal charms. I bought a simple necklace from Forever 21 and made the letters of her boys and place them on the chain. I was so pleased with how it turned out. Happy birthday Sister.

For starters I order the metal disk from China. CHINA way across the world.  I thought it quite funny. After all, I am the silly one who didn't look at the company who I was purchasing from.

So there it is a little peek into the busy days around here.

I can't believe that summer is here again. That means back to school come August. I am looking forward to pulling off some new designs for the fall can't wait to share them. I have been peeking around and am in awe of the wonderful world of artist out there creating. So many fantastic ideas and so many heart warming ideas to do. You should enjoy a craft making session sometimes it is all I need to bring a little sunshine back to my day.
